Aimee Blesing is an Australian actor currently based in New England, USA, known for her embodied text work, emotional clarity, and vocally dynamic performances. Rooted in classical training and embodied voice practice, her work spans Shakespeare, contemporary drama, devised theatre, and new plays in the United States and Australia.
New England audiences have seen her as Prospera in The Tempest, Rosalind in As You Like It, and Lady Capulet in Romeo & Juliet with theatre.unmasked, and as Claire in Proof at Hackmatack Playhouse. She has also appeared with Theatre KAPOW and Seven Stages Shakespeare in staged readings and contemporary works.
In Australia, Aimee toured nationally with Complete Works Theatre Company, performing Juliet, Lady Macbeth, and Jocasta, and appeared at La Mama Theatre in a new Australian work, Estrogen on Trial. She also completed multiple tours with Essential Theatre’s Shakespeare in the Vines, appearing in Much Ado About Nothing, Comedy of Errors, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, she brings technical precision and physical imagination to both heightened text and intimate realism.
