Voice & Accent Coach

Aimee Blesing is a highly sought-after voice and accent coach working across professional theatre, higher education, and regional companies in the U.S. and Australia. As a seasoned actor and a Registered Somatic Movement Educator (ISMETA), her coaching is grounded in embodied practice, ensuring that dialect acquisition supports—not replaces—authentic performance.

She has designed and coached dialects for productions at the University of New Hampshire, UMass Lowell, The Players’ Ring, New Hampshire Theatre Project, Palace Theatre, Theatre KAPOW, and Red Stitch Actors Theatre.

Her dialect repertoire includes Received Pronunciation (contemporary and classical), Cockney, Southern and Northern Irish, Geordie, West Country, Yorkshire, Russian, Italian, and a range of American regional dialects (Texan, Louisiana, North Carolina, New England, and more).

A Certified Trainer with the Lessac Training and Research Institute and an avid student of Knight-Thompson Speechwork, Aimee approaches voice and accent coaching through body wisdom, vocal energy, resonance, and sensory awareness rather than imitation and rote drill. Actors working with her gain clarity, consistency, and confidence—building voices and accents that are sustainable, expressive, and fully integrated with character, story, and self.
